Upcoming dates:
Announcements and Reminders:
What an exciting first full week we have had! We are continuing to adjust and learn the routines of our new 10-day cycle schedule. Our goal is to make the best schedule possible for the students' learning while meeting our curricular goals. We may need to adjust the days and times some subjects are taught as we move forward through the year.
Student Profile: We have received most student profiles from families. Thank you for taking the time and care to share this invaluable information with us. If you have not yet completed your child's student profile, please do so as soon as possible.
Thank you!
DAY 1 arrival and dress: The second graders have P.E. first period Day 1 (*next day one is Wednesday, September 17). It is important that students arrive on time and dressed in their P.E. clothes. Students will change into their uniforms at the end of their P.E. class. Thank you for your help in making sure your child has all he/she needs to dress into uniform.
Lost and Found: As a school and in each classroom, we are working to solve the amount of "lost and found" clothing. Please help us by making sure ALL clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles, backpacks, etc. are labeled with your child's first and last name. The students are developing solutions to help make sure all Grade 2 students' personal items are accounted for.
Assessments: We are continuing to administer assessments in math, reading, writing, and spelling.
